The free Evite alternative, with no ads on your invitation.

Online invitations with RSVP, plus-ones and an optional gift list. Every design is free, nothing on your invitation is an ad, and guests reply in one tap without an account.

  • Guests reply in one tap, no app
  • A live head count, plus-ones too
  • An optional gift list, so nothing comes twice
  • Free, with no ads on your invite

Three steps, about two minutes.

You are not building a website. You are picking a card and sending a link.

  1. Three invitation covers, one chosen

    1

    Choose a design

Pick the artwork and change the words on it. Some covers have an opening for your own photo.

  2. An invite with date, place and time

    2

    Add the date and place

When it is, where to go, who it is from. A line about what to bring, if that helps.

  3. An invite link shared with friends

    3

    Send it anywhere

Paste the link into WhatsApp, a text, an email, or a DM. One link, wherever your people already are — and the replies come back to you.

A wedding, a pirate party, supper at ours

Three real invitations with the replies switched on. Tap I’m coming on any of them and you will see exactly what your guests see — go on, it works.

Easier than a group chat, and a lot nicer

Free all the way through, not a free tier

Plenty of invitation sites are free to start, then show ads to your guests or ask you to upgrade for the good designs and the guest tools. Here everything is in the free invitation, for every party you throw.

  • Every invitation design
  • RSVP with Coming, Maybe and Can’t come
  • Plus-ones and a live head count
  • Meal choices and a reminder email
  • An optional gift list nobody can double-buy
  • No ads on your invitation, and no guest accounts

They tap Coming. You get a head count.

Every invitation has RSVP built in. A guest types their name, taps I’m coming, Maybe, or Can’t come, and says if they are bringing anyone. No account, no app, no reply-all thread to read through.

  • Coming, Maybe, or Can’t come — one tap
  • Plus-ones counted, so you know numbers
  • They can change their answer any time
  • You see every reply and the head count

A gift list, only if you want one

Add a few things you would love, with a link to the shop if you like. A guest taps I’ll bring this, and everyone else sees it is taken. Nobody turns up with the third French press.

  • Add a link to any shop
  • Taken gifts are marked for every guest
  • Leave it off for a no-gifts party

It looks like your party, not a template

Every word on the cover is yours to change: who it is for, what it is, a line in your own voice. Many designs have a window for a photo, so the birthday girl or the happy couple is right there on the front. Change it after sending and everyone with the link sees the new version.

  • Change every word on the cover
  • Your own photo in the window
  • Edit it any time, no second send

It arrives in an envelope, like a real invitation

No flat picture in a chat. Your guest taps the link, an envelope lands with the stamp on it, the flap lifts, and the invitation rises out — then the date, the place and the reply are right under it. Nothing to install, on any phone or laptop.

  • An envelope first, then the invitation
  • The details and the reply underneath
  • Any phone or laptop — no app

A little celebration when it opens

The moment the invitation comes out of the envelope, the screen bursts into a celebration. You pick which — confetti, hearts, or sparkles — and the colour it comes in.

  • Confetti for a party
  • Floating hearts for a wedding
  • Sparkles for a bit of magic

An envelope you choose

Pick the paper, the liner tucked inside and the postmark, and write the line on the front. It is the first thing your guests see, before the invitation slides out to meet them.

  • Papers and liners to suit the party
  • Your own line on the front
  • A postmark, as if it came by mail

One link, no address book

You never upload a guest list or type in email addresses. Paste the link wherever you already talk to people — a group chat, a text, an email, a post — and anyone who has it can open the invite.

  • Nothing to import, no contacts to allow
  • Forwardable — plus-ones are easy
  • No invite lost in a spam folder

Questions people ask

Is this really a free alternative to Evite?

Yes. Every design, the RSVP, the guest list, meal choices and the reminder are free, and there are no ads on your invitation. There is no premium tier to unlock replies, and your guests never pay.

Can I move my party over from Evite?

There is nothing to import. Pick a design, add the date and the place, and send the new link to your guests by text, WhatsApp or email. Their replies come back to you.

Is Fond Wishes part of Evite?

No. Evite is a trademark of its owner, and Fond Wishes has no connection to it. We name it only so you can compare.

Do my guests need an account?

No. They tap the link, the invitation opens in their browser, and they can reply there and then. You need an account so the invitation stays yours and you can see who is coming.

Can I put my own photo on it?

Yes, on any cover with a photo opening. Tap the opening while you are personalizing, and change the words at the same time.

Can I change the details after I have sent it?

Yes. Edit the invite and everyone who already has the link sees the new version. You do not have to send anything twice.

How does the RSVP work?

It is on the invitation itself. A guest types their name, taps I’m coming, Maybe, or Can’t come, and can say how many they are bringing. You see the list and the head count on the invitation’s send page, and on Home under the invite.

Can a guest change their answer?

Yes. They open the same link and reply again — it changes their answer instead of adding a second one. If someone replies twice under the same name, you still see one row.

Can I send the invitation by text or WhatsApp?

Yes. Copy the link and paste it into a text, WhatsApp, an email or a post. Or type your guests’ email addresses and we send it for you, with one reminder before the reply-by date.
